Friday Prayer

Last Updated: November 24, 2023By 1.3 min readCategories: Faith Talks

Dear God,

We come to you with a week’s worth of fear, exhaustion, joy, happiness, relief, and every other emotion.

We ask that you bring to the surface any wound or pain that needs attention. It can be all too easy to shove down what we need to deal with, so I ask that if something needs to come to the surface for someone that you allow it to and that you also give that person someone to process those feelings with.

I ask that you continue to spread the knowledge that when we lead with You, we live a better, fuller, and more peaceful life.

I ask that if someone is having trouble shutting off for the week and/or their to do lists feel particular full and unruly, that you encourage them to go outside and find some sunshine, that you grant them a sweet soft Angel to whisper in their ear, and that you allow them to find a balance that works from them.

Lord, we ask that you continue to love on those humans who aren’t finding the acceptance, encouragement, and allowance to be themselves to the fullest. Please allow them to find the courage, strength, and hope to continue being who they are.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.”

Pslam 46

In Jesus’ name,

Amen
